of the world, with different upbringing but with the same goal… to make music (their own individual music) and to
help other people (artists) with their music. Back in the middle 80’s these two men met for the first time as
computer professionals at a now defunct computer service company. The guitarist had been working on his craft
writing songs for about 2-3 years and had some experience working as a sound man in college. He knew his
way around equipment, had several gigs with different bands and had experience collaborating with other
writers. Most of these amateur bands had been copy bands, but he felt he was ready to start working on his own
music now, and was looking to find other players with the same agenda. In 1986, a keyboardist arrived in
California. He had experienced the performance of his own music and was used to having his own studio
wherever he lived. He had honed his craft back in Ohio in the late 70’s and by 1981 was writing and singing in a
band. He was looking too…
A co-worker mutual friend introduced the two. About a week later at the keyboardist’s home studio both had a
blast jamming for the first time. In the next few years the duo experienced both positive and negative facets in
their working and personal relationships. Having been both founders and driving forces of several great bands
such as The Last Tribe, Wild East, The Unknown, The Tender Spots, Borrowed Time, etc., they discovered that
even if they were in different bands they would always support each other’s current project. Through the years
however, they both experienced the disruptive meddling of so-called producers who would impose their sound or
style on their productions. This also happened with record companies, or even other band members who
became unaccepting and judgmental. Using those experiences as artists they now know that producing music
is and should always be in the artists' control. The way the record business has operated since birth has always
been unfair to the artist. Those times need to change! Now the artist has control. IGE Records is that new kind of
record company. And so the story begins...

To start off with this site is a work in progress and will always be. We appreciate your comments and thoughts,

Now for the latest and greatest... This site has moved to the next stage of development and will continue to work
with all who respond. There will be information and links missing from time to time. Please be patient. This site
will stay, live, and grow based on your responses! We are in the process of developing a system to deliver music
and video for you to listen to in its entirety in full high fidelity stereo and download on the spot for FREE! Other
items such as CD's, T's and other stuff we all like will be available too!
