Requiem of a Dream
My long lost friend Gary Spain, an old Venice Beach street musician, showed me
Courtney's Favorite by playing it on violin.  That was enough inspiration to remember the
piece and incorporate it into this instrumental.  You will find my version of
Courtney's
Favorite
in the second movement in the instrumental.  Again all tracks were recorded
without overdubs.

instruments used:
Fender Stratacaster electric guitar
Yamaha Spanish guitar
Technics PR100 Digital Ensemble keyboard
(PR100 was used for organ, strings, flute, sax, bass, drum and percussion sounds)

Requiem of a Dream was recorded at IGE
Records Studio B in Escondido Ca. in the
winter of 2005.  Written, arranged and
performed by Ken Brodeur.  This
instrumental of a progressive nature was
born out of a double jig named
Courtney's
Favorite
found in an old music book written
by an unknown artist.
